so you have Mackinnon according to your sig, have the #1 draft pick, and your prospect draft is soon.
how does that all work?

The league that I joined this year keeps everything on yahoo because they all enjoy the format and take care of the farm system manually.
After the 10 game mark of the NHL regular season, we have a prospect draft.
A prospect in our league is:
-Anybody who hasn't yet played 10+ games in the NHL (but played at least 1)
BUT as soon as they play their tenth game in the NHL they are no longer a prospect and you must either bring them up to your regular NHL roster or send them to the waiver wire (within a week)
We draft 5 rounds of "prospects" after the tenth game of the year.
This is my first keeper league so this is all I know, I am not commissioner but if there are things we could do to make it better or anything I should be looking out for, I am happy to hear them.
Otherwise just wanna know what ppl think in this spot and if Drouin is the only play?

Drouin! There's no doubt he'll be an NHL player and his ceiling is higher than Kuz anyway. Save yourself the headache of following all the storylines regarding Kuz's future in the NHL and take the guy who went 3rd overall.
