    Default Simmonds for Hossa

Hossa's had a slow start. Simmonds I got as a multi-cat guy who would chip in hopefully about 50 or so points and 100+ PIM and Hits. It's very early, and the Flyers could still turn it around (although under No-NHL-coaching-experience Berube, I dunno) in which case Simmonds would benefit.

But Hossa is Hossa and he's bound to pick up the pace once the Blackhawks really get rolling. I've also got his linemate Sharp.

Advice welcome! The Hossa owner already said he'd do it. League & Cats in sig.

Tough to say. I have Simmonds on the bench in one league right now, just waiting it out. You have Lucic who should chip in a healthy amount of PIMs and Points, so I'd say Hossa is too good to turn down at this point. The Blackhawks will get going, the Flyers...umm, maybe

The only thing with Hossa you may want to consider is how long can he stay healthy.

If I were you though, I would do it for sure. Lucic will more than cover the GRIT points categories for the loss of Simmonds + I dont have a lot of faith on PHI this year.

While I still do have Lucic (and Burns, and even Neal when he comes back) to throw some weight around, I'm still middle-of-the-pack in hits and thats with Simmonds in the lineup. I'm a little worried about PIMs as well. I'm sure over the course of the season these things even out but as of now, I'm still super tempted by the band-aid boy Hossa. But the band-aids are an issue...
