NOPE! Even if Green regains part of his former stature this won't be a good move for you, because Mason won't be a starter for very long this season. Once Mason craps the bed for good it's Rinne for Green, and that's not the best. As some other people mentioned as well, once Green gets hurt (pretty likely in my opinion) then it's a top-5 starter for a back-up and an injured defenseman. You have a great 1-2 punch with Rinne and Rask, so you'd be dealing from a position of strength, but your defense isn't weak enough to warrant reaching for Green.

I agree this is a terrible trade. Green is a gamble with his health and Mason might not even be a starting goalie. Rinne is money in the bank. I woulnd't even counter this offer, just walk away...
To give some perspective, in a points pool, Rinne is generally equal to a 100 pointer. Would you trade Stamkos for Green and Mason?
