As per TSN.ca, Straka\'s agent denies there is a contract and says he\'ll wait until July 1 to make any decisions.

I just read this myself and realized how starved I am for \'real\' hockey news of substance [as opposed to speculation]. BRING ON JULY 1st!
Outside of PIT is there any place Straka could wind up [in the NHL that would garner significant fantasy interest]? He appears to really be in the twilight of his career IMO.

Straka NOT going to Czech?
On the Straka situation -
If anyone here understands Czech, take a look at this article and tell us if it sheds any light. My own suspicion on the matter is that the Plzn deal is agreed in principle as a plan B for Straka if he doesn\'t find an offer with an immediate challenge in free agency (it was claimed earlier this week the Plzn offer was to be player-GM).
