Default [unconfirmed] Weber 3 years for 4.5 a year

The reason he did 4.5 mill a year instead of the 5 to 6 mill which he should have gotten... Is listed right here...

3 years! after that he becomes a ufa and banks in big time. Not the best deal for the preds imo. having him locked up long term would have been. So imo this is a deal that both sides met halfway on.. Trust me the preds would have loved to have him inked up for a longer term...

Timing of this message in terms of the thread may be lost, but Weber will be a UFA after this new 3 year contract expires.

It does indeed seem like D salary has taken a leap this year, however I for one think Weber will be worth every penny. Having seen a fair amount of his junior career as well as following his time in NAS, I really do believe that this kid is a solid young D with loads of potential.
