I guess the signing of Matt Carkner made McGrattan expendable.
Carkner will drop the gloves and get far more ice time being the number 6 D man for the Sens.
Hate to see McGrattan go though.
He always did well on the fourth line when he got a chance. He\'d go in to the offensive zone, keep the puck in deep, keep it simple and never create any grave turnovers.
I felt they should\'ve played him more often than they did.
...if I might add, we are currently dating, and she is quite a handful in the bedroom...
I dunno from all the interviews I\'ve seen about Spezza talking about Grats is that he actually does have some talent. Gretz is into those guys who can play physical and have some offensive talent and he could be a serviceable 4th liner. But this might just affect Carcillo\'s PIMs more than anything.
