I would have to give a slight edge to Pavelski because he doesn't have the history of being injury-prone. What makes it tough is that Pavelski is expected to play on the 3rd line this season while Kesler plays on the 2nd line. I don't think Pavelski playing on the 3rd line will last though.
Its close but I think I would take the chance and roll with Kesler.

I agree for Kesler's upside vs Pavelski's but I think they're pretty close IMO so I would take Pavelski since the injury history of Kesler scares me a little....

I think they are pretty even but I'd take Pavelski if only because Kesler is a tumbleweed and I can't stand him. He hasn't played to his ability since that series against Nashville the year the Canucks made it to the finals. I don't see that changing.
