Alright so I'm looking at dropping two of these three guys at our annual draft:

    Perron
    Callahan
    Grabovski

The Grabovski signing and the Perron trade really threw a monkey wrench into my thoughts. It's a points only league and no I'm not near competing anytime soon so I can wait as long as needed.

League is in sig but sig isn't updated.

    Thanks in advance!

F: Barkov, Bergeron, Dadonov, Getzlaf, Hertl, Marchand, Olofsson, Pacioretty, Pavelski, Radulov, Stone, Wheeler, Zuccarello

The Grabovski signing is intriguing , but don't let it fool you. He's brought for his defensive play and he will play third line minutes. No Ovechkin , no Backstrom , probably less than a minute per game of PP time.

I would go with Perron and Callahan here
    12 teams keeper league (keep 6 + 1 rookie) H2H points only

Rookie = less than 23 years old and never reached 60pts for a forward / 40 pts for a D

    Start : C RW LW S D D G
    Points are : A/G = 1 pt W = 2 pts SO = 1pt

    C - Seguin Giroux Stepan
LW - Huberdeau (R) Parise Tlusty
RW - Eberle Hornqwist Hemsky Scheifele
D - Schultz Gardiner Goligoski Brodie Sekera Zidlicky
G - Fleury Crawford Raanta Greiss

Whoever said, 'It's not whether you win or lose that counts,' probably lost.

If you DROP two... I'd keep Perron.
Callahan is solid, but his upside isn't high.
Grabovski is solid, but his upside isn't high.

As "pure upside" goes, Perron's situation in the EDM top six make his upside high.
If you aren't close to competing, you need to take some high risks on players with potentially high reward.

Points only, I take the risk and keep Perron. (cut the other two).
[btw, good to know you still have time for fantasy hockey, ]

I agree with Pengwin. The other two can be redrafted, especially Callahan whose value goes way down in a points only. Perron has a fresh start on a new team.

Callahan isn't as valuable as he is in multi category leagues, but he's still my pick here. Rangers offense is looking up this season. Roll with Callahan.

Even if you aren't sold on Perron you can use him as trade bait because there will be the most hype with him of these 3 guys going into the new season. I mean we are all waiting with baited breath to see the Oiler's offensive top 400 goals this year right? RIGHT??

I'd keep Perron of those three

Not a big Perron fan but he's the best fantasy option of the three options given moving forward.
