2 weeks is not that hard to make up, start 1 week early and end 1 week later and you can have the same schedule compaction as a regular season. I wonder if the NHL will consider skipping the All-Star Game again to accompany the Olympics? They did last time around but that would be 2 straight years without an All-Star game which despite its lack of action would still be a shocker to me.
