What's the deal with Andre Burakovsky?
Some say that he has top end talent, but what do you think?
Sakic doesn't seem like the type of guy to play "games" so him announcing their intentions to pass on Jones seems legit.
I am not a fan of the actual announcement but maybe it was done to ease the pressure off of Jones, who has connections to COL and could have been blindsided. Who knows?
If Jones isn't their guy then I would be astonished if MacKinnon isn't Colorado's target. If Jones doesn't go first, expect him to go 2nd.

Awesome thank you Dean... Yeah I am not shocked that Reinhart is last on the lsit I saw in the prospects guide that he had I think 50 point upside I didnt think he was that 2 way d man I thought he would be more of a Harmonic... Do you think that is what will happen?

What d-man, in this draft, will score the most points year after year in his prime??
Zorro says "vote for Dobber"
Angus is my best friend at dobberhockey..
i've read many who have said this but Stu MacGregor (Edmonton) said it drops off around 15, and Tim Murray (Sens) said the top is very good but after that it's unlikely you will get stars. But he says it's a decent draft overall if teams do their homework.
Just saying we shouldn't treat it like 2003 which was the exception.

Love him. He's one of my favourite forwards in this draft class. Lots of upside so he's relevant in all fantasy formats.
See the profile I wrote on him today
This seems pretty obvious if you ask me. Expecting that will only lead to letdowns.
I would agree that they quality drops off past 15 but you can still get some impact players (2nd/3rd liners) from 15-75 with decent odds.
Every year is the same, people overrate some drafts, others underrate them. It's all about having a sensible expectations knowing that no prospect is a guarantee.
