personally I don\'t understand the PP faceoff rule, i think the faceoff should be at the spot of the foul...the defending team is already down a man, why should they be penalized further by a defensive zone faceoff?

Every faceoff to start a PP will now be in the offensive zone regardless of where the penalty was committed. I like the change for chasing down iced pucks too.

This is really going to impact some games good or bad. I hope this isn\'t going to cause controversy because on more than one occasion in the stanley cup playoffs this past season, the officials just got it wrong...
Now these crucial games are more likely to be impacted by bad calls...
That\'s a bit worrisome. I like the goalie changes though...
just don\'t really understand the need for the other rules... I mean a player scored 65 goals last season! Why do we need more goal scoring? The old records are going to be made obsolete by the bumbling rule makers... imo.

The NHL seems to want more goals. I don\'t mind the rule changes. As long as they don\'t increase the size of the net .... Luongo please stay in the NHL.
