    Default Hamilton for Gordon?

I have Gordon and I am having a tough time. Feel like he is finally hitting his stride and now he is batting 3rd. On pace for 30 hrs, 100 ribs and 90 runs.

Hamilton is a monster but something is wrong. They both have homered last two nights and other owner is throwing in josh bell.

I'm good with J-Ham here. He's in a stacked lineup, and has proven power. I don't think he's as good as his career year suggests, but even with that as an outlier, his composite numbers otherwise are solid.

what do you need out of that roster spot, because they offer entirely different skill sets...

gordon is three years younger then hamilton, not nearly as injury prone, and not nearly as talented. he is a top 100 talent, but i don't see him moving much higher. i think he will be more consistent than hamilton, year by year.

hamilton has the potential to give you first round production, some years. other years you'll be looking to bench him. there is the constant risk of missing time due to injuries, which i think will get worse as he ages, not better.

hamilton will win you a league with his extreme production, once or twice.

gordon will keep you in contention, year after year.

depends on what you want out of that roster spot.

I'd rather have Gordon, not too many guys that can provide all those categories every season for you.
