Matt Read Update- He's "Ahead of Schedule"
Update from rotoworld sounds much better than the initial 6-8 week report:
Matt Read believes he could be back from his torn rib cage muscles "as soon as this weekend" after he participated in Monday's practice. He wore a regular, white jersey while taking part in cycling drills with passing and shooting during the session. "I think I've healed pretty quickly, but I'm still in a lot of pain," Read said. "Maybe that last part, going from 80 percent to 100 percent healthy will take a while." He isn't sure when exactly he'll be able to return, but he doesn't think that he'll be out for another month. Mar 4 - 2:25 PM
