Keep Selanne. Bottom line.
In a one year league is this a good deal?
I would receive Krejci for my Selanne.
I like Krejci's consistency but Selanne has been putting some big games, but he's inconsistent. I'm in first place and undefeated. So should I play it smart and get consistency. I'm still new to hockey so I really don't know which player is better to own.
Any help is appreciated. Team, cats and points in my sig.

im not too sure about your scoring. can u search how many points each player was worth last season? I have a feeling that both are going to score at a similar clip as last year, so compare the two and see who is the better option

With my leagues scoring from 2012 it shows that Krejci would be the player to own due to the FOW scoring.
Krejci - 430.6
Selanne - 339.2
So if 2012 production were to continue you're saying trade? Or will the shortened season help keep Selanne near Krejci. I'm not sure I want to trade unless its a clear upgrade.

Having only F-spots for forwards with FOW as a category makes no sense. It's ridiculous. Krejci will get 150 extra points from just that! That's seriously flawed up league setup.
With that setup, you'd be wise to load up on centers only. Kessel, Carter, JVR, Tarasenko etc. Move those guys for centers who take a lot of FOW even if they score a little less that those your guys I listed.
Move Selanne for Krejci. Krejci is worth so much more in your league that it's not even close.

Carcillo - Yeah being a rookie even I thought it was weird. Good to know that centers are the ones to own in my league.
I think I'll move forward with this trade and start looking for more centers to trade for.

If the center also hits, he's golden. Someone like Hanzal (unless he's injured again?) could fly under the radar while being great value player in your league.
Simmonds and Lucic are one of your only pure wingers I'd keep since they hit and give PIM and those give great boost to their value.

I was ready to say keep Selanne, but the value of centers are huge in your league, the difference in points for Krejci is easily made up for in FOW.
