With Hiller starting tonight, is Fasth now officially the backup? Should I drop him?
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

If you have a spot for him on your bench (and I assume you do because thats probably where you had Hillier) i would leave him on your bench. The fact you have both isnt a bad thing and right now Fasth is pushing Hillier for more starts.
Don't drop him just because he isnt starting tonight. He isnt going to start every game from here on out.

Yeah, don't panic. Hiller is the number one goalie in Anaheim but if he continues to put up such poor SV% and GAA and Fasth continues to play well, that could change. I would hang on to both goalies for now unless one really takes the reins for good.
Without me, it's only "aweso".
dropping Fasth would be the ultimate knee-jerk reaction. The Ducks play back-to-back tonight and tomorrow so a split is pretty standard. Hiller tonight, I'd fully expect Fasth tomorrow. I don't think this tells us anything more about the starter/platoon situation.

Hey, I was being sarcastic but I guess no one noticed . I'm the last person to have knee-jerk reaction and I don't even have Fasth. Just have found it amusing that there have been threads about dropping Hiller and such based on Fasth's week of stellar play.
Well, at least this thread may be useful to those who didn't know Hiller was starting tonight.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
I knew right when I saw the title and who was posting it that it was a joke.
Hah, should have realized but didn't take note of who posted it! Plus it's Friday and IDGAF. Guess I was checked out of more than just work. Thanks for letting me know Hiller was starting though
