May have been bad timing Comish, but I will stand up for your sentiments. Between Seguin and Dougie, we owe Kessel and the Leafs a huge thank you.
For my fellow Bruins fans, here's a little piece of history to take your mind off the beatdown we suffered last night. At the risk of acting like a Habs fan and digging into our past ("how many Cups have you won"), I present to you Cam Neely laying the smack down on Lindy Ruff

I'm just going to throw this out there. Kessel, since he has come to Toronto, has scored 30, 32 and 37 goals and at the age of 24 and in his 6th season, had his first 80 point campaign finishing in the top ten in scoring. Now obviously Seguin is a very good hockey player but he is 21 and in his first year, he was about the same as Kessel in his first year....22 points to Kessel's 29. Now in Kessel's second year he had 37 points and Seguin had 67, so Seguin wins this one. But in Kessel's third year he started to pick it up scoring 36 goals. My point is, all this thank you Kessel stuff is a little premature imo. Kessel is 25. Seguin is 21. There is a possibility that Seguin turns out to be a better player than Kessel, but that remains to be seen. I don't think it's fair that Kessel gets so much grief for this trade. He's obviously doing what the Leafs hoped he would. Lets see how Seguin is in a year or two before you can really decide if he's better than Kessel or not.
Head to Head League: 1 point for G, 1 point for A. 2 for Goalie win, 3 for SO.
