In my opinion yes, especially that your defense is pretty slim (for the moment until Weber gets started). The only offer I'd accept is against a good RW.
I'm a Pietrangelo owner.. and over the past couple weeks I've been flooded with offers for him. I, however, don't feel that any of them are close. I'm wondering what his value would be in my league.. what type of return to expect. It's the first league in my sig. I'm not actively shopping him.. but some of the offers I've received are,
-Horton + B. Schenn for Pietro + Erat (Erat and Horton cancel out in my mind.. thus AP for Schenn)
-Vanek for Pietro
-J. Carter for Pietro
Am I right to value him much higher?!

I wouldn't even consider any of these offers as a starting point for AP.
If they want him, the price should be higher.
And looking at your D, I wouldn't trade him.

Yes. AP will be one of the more consistent producers from the backend. His value is much higher than what's been offered. Vanek isn't terrible, but he had a wickedly hot start last year as well and hasn't proved to be much more than a 60-70 point player. Pietrangely could be a 65 point dman.

Those offers are all insulting.
Next time, just tell them to stop wasting your time unless they're ready to table something serious.
As an AP owner I wouldn't take any of those deals. From what I've seen of him so far he's going to be in that upper echelon of dmen, so I wouldn't give him up without a huge deal coming back for me.

You are absolutely right to value Pietrangelo higher. The offers will need to get a lot better before you even begin to consider trading him.
you will know what type of return is right when you see it
other than the vanek deal none of them are even close to the ballpark
send out some comparable offers for those other gms star players just to let them know how insulting their offers are
they will either get serious about what they are offering or they will leave you alone
but either way they will know you are not some shmuck they can try to take advantage of
Those offers are not even close. AP is and will be one of the top 5 fantasy dmen for years to come. This season he has 7pts in 6g. Nuff said.
I use two rules when/if dealing high end fantasy players:
1. does the deal make my team better for the direction my team is going? (direction: going for the win or rebuilding)
2. if I'm dealing an elite player, I need to win the deal quite obviously. I won't deal a stud in a fair deal. If someone wants a name like AP, I'm making that GM pay through the nose.
(The exception to these rules is I would deal elite for elite IF it makes my team better for my direction.)
