Hamilton Bulldogs' scoring leaders so far. They are 4-2-1-1 in 8 games.
Surprises:
Brendan Gallagher - tied for team lead with 6 points as rookie
Patrick Holland - impressive 5 points so far
Robert Mayer - excellent in goal with 4-1-1 record and .917 save percentage
Disappointments:
Nathan Beaulieu - a single point so far
Gabriel Dumont - expected a hotter start after the way he finished last year
Peter Delmas - ugly numbers (3.49, .865) have him firmly stuck behind Mayer

Damien Brunner and Henrik Zetterberg are getting tons of hype for their chemistry this season, but Raphael Diaz is also having a ton of success during the lockout.

I retract what I said about Galchenyuk not being in the NHL this year. If the lockout ends and there is a season, he will be in Montreal. I don't think he would have been ready for the big league in October but after a slow start he is on a tear.

Wow, I almost forgot that this place exists. We're back on the ice!!! Just giving a heads-up that I am only getting RDS on the 26th so I will have to stream a few games unless they are on TSN. I plan on continuing with the game reports but there may be some hiccups at the beginning.
Galchenyuk for Calder!!!
