Default Week 7 Flex: DeAngelo Williams vs. David Wilson

With Bradshaw's injury, a work load split may result in rookie burner David Wilson getting a lot of touches. Does that propel him above DeAngelo Williams as a starter this week?

I appreciate all thoughts on this, thanks!

No. Williams would still be the way to go. Brown took first team reps and has proven that he can actually carry the load, so there share may be nowhere near a 50/50 time share. Williams' role is more of a certain one.

    Really?

Thanks. I must say I'm surprised. Every time I've watched Wilson play he's looked ridiculously fast, he cuts well, and he usually extends plays further than most RBs can.

Oh, his talent is not the question. Perhaps his fumbling is a concern, but if he gets over that, he has stud potential. He's a home-run hitter. However, Brown put up studly numbers. And although Brown has looked very good, his work was still not good enough to erase what Brown did. Otherwise, Brown would not be getting the first team reps. Wilson may outproduce Williams. The odds are not in his favor, though. Don't forget, NYG s are still a passing team.

Only if I snagged a free agent. It's a flex spot (WR/RB/TE), and the best options are:

    Blount
    Fred Davis
    Jermichael Finley
    Kendall Wright

    etc, etc.

Don't think these options displace Williams.

Blount or Wright could get a TD but they might also do nothing. I'm not a big D'Angelo Williams fan though. He has had some stinkers for sure this year but he's also had some decent games (even 7 pts is enough to not ruin your week as an emergency fill in guy). I wish more games had been played so there would be a larger sample size to judge from. Playing any one of these guys is just going to be rolling the dice but sometimes that's what you've got to do. I know my starting lineup this week is brutal. I would probably just stick with Williams. Good Luck!
