Nyquist scored a beauty tonight for the Griffins -- caught my first game this year. For the second night in a row, they coughed up a lead to lose.
Brendan Smith looks like a champ too. Seemed to be everywhere.

Just FYI, Damien Brunner is once again leading the Swiss league in scoring. The NLA website doesn't seem to show stats so I'm taking the numbers from eurohockey.

Far ahead of Seguin, Thornton, Nash, Couture, Spezza in only a couple extra games (in fact one less game than Thornton, 11 more points). It's still the Swiss league but there's definitely more firepower in that league than usual and he's still dominating.

Nice find. I really hope this means good things for the guy. That being said...Glen Metropolit and Dan Fritsche are also ahead of all of those guys
Just to elaborate on Fast Tony DeNiro's point, Henrik Zetterberg, Damien Brunner and Linus Omark are dominating as a line too.
I'd recommend reading this article from the globe and mail: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/sport...rticle4795253/
This is great news, I'm excited to see Brunner in a Red Wings uniform.

He is a RFA and wants out of Edmonton as he knows he will never get a chance on a scoring line here. I wouldnt want him on the Wings either, as skilled as he is, he does not Have the strength to win the puck battles. Basically he wants a roster spot in the NHL or else he is staying in Europe
