I would give a slight edge to CJ. You would then have the top RB and WR in most, if not all formats.

I know most people would draft McCoy ahead of Calvin, or at last most "experts" have been in their mock drafts, but I'm having a really hard time doing this trade as I really think Calvin is in a class of his own compared to the other wideouts, plus since this is a keeper I believe I would get more years out of Calvin compared to McCoy given the short lifespan of RB's. But, having Foster+McCoy on my team to start the year as well as having both as a my keepers is definitely extremely enticing.
Anyway, what do you all think - if you were me would you accept or reject?

At one point I owned McCoy/Rice in my non-PPR dynasty. I moved Rice for CJ, straight up. Why? Because in my view, I am looking for at least one elite player at each position - spread out the scoring, as it were.
Point being, already owning Foster as you do, I keep CJ - especially in a PPR. CJ catches balls, and a lot of them....that's what he does. McCoy is AWESOME no doubt. The Philly offense revolves around him, but he won't catch as many balls as CJ ever. His best year was 78, buut that's an outlier in my view. 45-50 is where McCoy settles. That's half of CJ's total.
Again, because you already have a stud in Foster, I would keep CJ, and aim for a #2 RB like Sproles.
@SmittysRant
I think keeper value vs. redraft value are quite different. I'm in a dynasty league draft right now where QB's were so over-inflated in value compared to '1 year' leagues - mostly because a good young QB can carry your squad for 10 years while a stud RB gets 2-4 (typically) and a stud WR may be good for 4-6. In a keeper league where you can only keep two players I think I'd take Calvin to pair with Foster and I might even try to trade Foster for Aaron Rodgers if I could.
Give me Calvin 8 days a week!
I see this deal as very even, but Calvin Johnson is one of those guys that I just couldn't pass up.
His athleticism and ability really impress me every time I watch the Lions play.
"Be yourself; everyone else is already taken."
"Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."
How many WRs will be taken in the first round?
How many RBs will be taken in the first round?
Do the math, check the discrepancy, make your decision.
If I get #1 this year I am contemplating CJ just to make a statement.

It's close. Shady catches a lot of balls and WR is a deep position. If this wasn't a PPR league, Shady would be my choice. However, it is a PPR, so i'd roll with Jojnson.
