It seems to me that injuries are way up this year too. In a forever pool, in which I play, I have seen many weeks in which every team in the league has an injured guy in their lineup by the end of the week. 15 man rosters. One guy finished a week with five injured. Every week multiple teams finish with two on injury. Very often someone has three. Strangely, there have hardly been enough centres to go around! Guys have learned over the years to take the winger at draft time, when it's a close decision. Currently 52 players on injury (12 teams) without the really current up to date reports (Steen...). Approximately 400 players in that pool, some of which are prospects. Injuries seem higher to me too.
