1. How do you see the Washington Gioalie situation going forward? Specifically in regards to Varly.

2. I have a comfortable lead currently in my keeper league (players & scoring in sig). I was wondering whether I should trade Rask which will pretty much guarentee me the win or keep him and hope everything pans out.

I answered this a few questions back - I like MN more but I think Washington likes Varlamov.

If it will guarantee you the win.... go for it. All about winning, no?

Considering he make the team next year, how many points B. Schenn get and what kind of progression should we expect?

Since Anaheim got Beauchemin back, Visnovsky's point production seems so be slowing. Do you think this will continue?..... Should I plug by 3rd string D-man Shattenkirk into my weekly roster, or continue to roll with Visnovsky?

What are your thoughts on Heatley for the rest of the year? He's really been screwing the pooch lately. Is he done being an elite winger for fantasy purposes?

I traded for him - law of averages says he will pick it up. Seems content to float and collect massive paycheques, though.

Do you see a bounce back year from Pronger next year? He hasn't exactly had a great year fantasy wise this year. His numbers are down across the board this season. This can be attributed to injury's this season. But with an an expected deep playoff run for the Flyers this season, do you see him getting enough rest in the off season to come back strong next year?

Depends on what role he is placed in... tough year to get going as you said w/ injuries... and look how much hockey he played last year. At his age that is tough on the legs.

I have Filatov, Brett Connolly, Matts Zucarello and TJ Oshie battling it out for a keeper spot. I'm primarily (65%) interested in next year but also have a future to consider. Who should I keep and why?

Also, I can get (and add to the mix) Kyle Okposo. Now what?

From a fantasy perspective, what's your top ten for this years draft?

Not sure yet... I do know I really like Strome and Murphy.

I have some depth at center so I was wondering if I should choose a W with my first overall draft pick this year or draft Larsson since my starting D next year will probably be...Streit, Babchuk, Blum(if he makes the squad), and Gilbert.

D take longer.... go for the best player. RNH probably from fantasy perspective.

I now have 24 players on my keeper roster along with 3 draft picks, (2x1st rounders and a crappy 3rd).

By season end i have to cut down to 20. At draft day, I'll have to drop another 3 to fit in my picks. My roster:

The obvious drops are Ponik, Comrie, Michalek and Frolov.
Currently in 3rd out of 9, and looking to win my playoff pool. So if Frolov is back for the playoffs or LA makes it, i might change one of them to Huselius. That gives me 5 guys I'm willing to drop. Who else would you be willing to part with? 2 more guys if possible.
Or if I were going to try and make a move to condense, any suggestions? Like which 3 guys do i offer for Kovalchuk?

I'd try and upgrade as much as you can for better keepers - one of the best and most common sense strategies out there.

Hey Angus,

Need your thoughts on a potential Yandle trade.

Team and league rules are in sig. Points carry over in trades. I'm out of the running for this year.

The guy in first could really use Yandle. Our first two Ds count towards our final roster. His current Ds are the only thing keeping him from absolutely running away with the title.

He wants my Yandle for Pietrangelo +.

Replacing Pietrangelo with Yandle could absolutely clinch the title for him. (Adding to the incentive for him is the very real possibility for me to trade Yandle to the guy who is in second).

The only two guys I really like on his team are Semin and Stastny.

I had initially thought my Yandle+Moulson for his Pietrangelo+Stastny. But now I think that might not be enough for Yandle. Still, I'd like your thoughts on that one.

Even better would be to somehow get both Semin and Stastny along with Pietrangelo.

I thought maybe Semin, Stastny, Pietrangelo FOR Yandle, Moulson, Jokinen + something else (a good young player with potential). I'd love to know what that something else should/could be, looking at my team.

P.S. The reason I'm offering him Moulson and Jokinen is that their points totals will largely compensate for the loss of Stastny's and Semin's points this season.

Love Yandle, but you could maximize his value here. I like the second deal a lot. AP is a stud.
