Or maybe Ottawa is their kryptonite this year. Tied 1-1 going into the 3rd.
theyve won a bunch of games doing what theyre doing, bound to have a stinker. we wouldnt have thought much of it if it was 2-2 late and ottawa scored a late one to win it. just unfortunate it was a 5-1 to 6-5 stinker, they'd take being up 5-1 every single time.
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.

What's up with Tavares so far? Has he lost that much of a step already? One goal 5 on 5.

Cant help but imagine how good things must be going for a team if they're tops in the league and one of their best players is being ragged on for a slump when he's near point per game anyways.
if only every team was so lucky haha

Keefe talked about this today. There's a concerted effort of him to focus more on his defensive responsibilities.
He mentioned his 5x5 goals and pointed out that his goals share is at a career high. he's been much better defensively.
That said, the goals will come. he is a point per game. Unless you're in a pool that specifically counts 5x5 goals. it shouldn't matter where they come. It's more an area of upside to come this season - than large concern.

I think Jumbo was surfing this forum while off. He's come back with a vengeance.
Imagine how much money you can make off Matthews by betting he won't get a hatrick. The odds could be -3333 and you'd still end up making a lot of money.
So I thought Andersen was actually backing up last night, it was Woll. Keefe said Andersen is dealing with some stuff.
UHM WHAT?!

Hyman is missing from the morning skate today. No word yet if he's expected to miss tonight's game.

Hyman and Thornton are both considered day-to-day, while Muzzin is expected to miss more time after sustaining a broken bone in his face.
Head coach Sheldon Keefe said he only learned of Thornton's status minutes before his media session and therefore wasn't ready to say who would skate on a line with and Mitch Marner against Calgary.
Alex Barabanov and Nik Petan will draw in at forward, while will replace Muzzin on the blueline.
daily faceoff is showing BOYD on the top line with MM & AM. That speed could be fun. Good to see the kid get a shot.
Lehtonen suiting up with Bogo on 3rd pair. Good opportunity for Dermott - stepping into Muzzin's place on 2nd pair.

Sucks about Sandin's injury. This could of been his opportunity.
