Do you have any info on going to sharks ice or wherever they have their training camp or practices? I'd like to show up to one, but don't really have any idea.

I think that yesterday was the last practice/scrimmage before the team and white game tonight and the start of the preseason tomorrow. I get most of my info from the Sharks website and from David Pollak

What to expect from Justin Braun?

In scanning through the earlier posts, it looks as though he has lost his spot on the 2nd PP to Vlasic. Is this the case? Was hoping for a sneaky grab, but need production this year, so can't sit on him.

Is he a better option than Sami Salo or Dan Hamhuis to round out my last D position? Thanks!!

I dont see him playing much unless people are going down. He has a great shot that gets through.

Just assuming he wont get much time because of Vandermeer, White, Demers around

My guess is Braun stays in Worschester for the season except for callups due to injury or poor play. Out of those other guys I'd take Hamhuis as he'll have more to do with Ehrhoff gone in Vancouver.

Braun will be in AHL and will probably play between 5-10 games up with the Big Boys.

Is this how the PP1 unit is shaping up? If so, who is the 5th man on the unit? I am guessing Pavelski, but I would like some confirmation on this.

If someone told me I could get knocked out and receive 725k, I would drop my hands and stick out my chin...

Pavelski was used on the wing for the majority of the preseason. Clowe and Couture have amazing chemisty so I doubt they are split up. Havlet would be the only other person i can see on that line but he is more of a pass first guy and that line needs someone that will shoot. Pavelski lead the Sharks last season in SOG so he is the logical choice.

Havlet is out for the first game. The Sharks want to take advantage of the extra 8 days that they have between games to let him rest up and make sure he is 100%

So what do people think about Pavelski taking faceoffs in the first period while on a line with Thornton. Will this be a regular thing throughout the season or just something they are trying out. I figure Thornton is shifting to C and Pavelski to RW after the faceoff but this is pretty big for leagues that count faceoffs won.
