I have Keith up front by quite a bit.
    Then Boyle
    Then Johnson

I like What Johson is doing as much as the next guy, but this is the first year he has done it and he was turned to a lot when Doughty was out.

I don't think you would find many people that would trade you Keith if you were offering Johnson straight accross..... I wouldn't.

Long term: (I'm talking 5 years down the road)
I would say the consensus is Jack Johnson over Boyle.

    1 year......
    Current stats this year:
    Jack Johnson: 37PTS, 24PPP, -5
    Dan Boyle: 35PTS, 22PPP, -9
So, based on these stats it's not even clear-cut that Boyle is the better option. Actually, if Team A has had JJ on their team this year, and Team B has had Boyle, Team A has received better production. Thus, what would make me believe that Boyle does in fact have a better 3-year window than someone who is currently outproducing him even this year. If we were talking maybe Pietrangelo or Del Zotto vs Boyle then I think the 3-year window argument would definitely be applied there as to why Boyle is the better option, but if we're talking JJ vs Boyle then I think it's debatable who will have the better next 3-years, and if the question is debatable I feel you gotta go with the younger of the two. Do you agree? If you don't would love to hear why. Thanks!
I do agree with this... I like the way you've broken it down!! Sounds like you know what you wanna do and I can't argue with your logic!!
