Malkin - Down again

Based on this ground breaking news, should I be shopping Malkin around for a "Williams" type player?

Not for Williams, someone with better skating mechanics. Just ask MT to clarify what that means and you will be ok.

what I've noticed with ACL tears with both football and hockey players is that they are never 100% their first year back, one of two things happens, they either come back too soon or too aggressively and blow the knee out again (which is really bad) or they have trouble fully 'trusting' it so they don't play like themselves. Also, it often 'feels' a little different for them which takes getting used to... but as the year goes on they slowly build up their confidence. If they can make it thru that first year they can usually return to something approaching their former prowess but year one is almost always a down year

I guess the good think for Malkin is that he gets the whole off season to work out a lot of the kinks so he can come back a little stronger. It'll still be a slow process though, hopefully he gets it back, fantasy owner or not.
