Anybody want to take a guess as to how much he'll make next year and moving forward?

I don't think anyone really knows.

    I'd guess a Jovanovski type deal, $6-$6.5M, 3-5 years.

Hard to say though. Look at Giroux's signing.

Plus PHX's financial/ownership situation is a bit iffy to say the least.

WOAH. No way he gets 6-6.5 mil. Not in Phoenix, that's for sure. I, honestly, see a Jack Johnson type deal.. maybe more around the 5 mil mark but I see it falling in the 4.5-5.5 area. I truly believe we are going to see a slow down on the HUGE contracts as GM's are seeing the major issues teams are facing once laden with mega contracts. If he goes shorter term, more money, but if he wants to stay in Phoenix and make it work he's going to have to take a bit of a paycut.

Either way, here's a beauty article on Yandle: edit (part of Freidman's 30 thoughts)

I'm with Rid. 4.5 mil per year sounds about right. The guy is only 23 right?

I don't see him making $6 either, but who the hell knows? Coyotes owernship situation is a mess, maybe their not willing to fork out much, get a few offer sheets in. You never know.
