Default Okposo and Phaneuf for Letang??

Hey all. I was offered his Letang for my Okposo and my Phaneuf. Should I accept this offer? Do I have enough depth at W to let Okposo go? All input is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

This is a no-brainer. Unless your league starts counting hits and giveaways, Phaneuf's useless. It's basically Okposo for Letang. I would make this deal.
Then, since you will now have a ridiculously stacked young bunch of d-men, I would try and go for a goalie (I'm guessing you need some help at that position right now)...maybe even Brodeur as the price might be right at this point.

As a guy who traded Letang and Perron for Huet and Niemi last year (get the handcuff!), and has owned Okposo and Phaneuf, I would do this in a heartbeat. Phaneuf's best days seem to be behind him, and in leagues that count plus/minus, Okposo is not worth as much as his name brings in trade. And I don't see that changing for another few years at least. Phaneuf on the Leafs won't help you with the plus/minus either. Letang is probably the player I most regret trading over the last few years (and I traded away Okposo, can't even remember what for) - I let him go when I had had enough of a bad start to a season (last year) and have regretted it ever since Niemi got traded to San Jose (although it's starting to feel a bit better lately).

Do this trade and don't look back. You can thank me later.
