Default Just traded Edler & Heatley, thoughts?

I kind of pulled a fast one on another GM as i don't think he knew the edler situation.

i Gave up Heatley (been wating for him get hot, has not happened)
    Edler
    Giordano

    Receive

Datsyuk and Bieksa (Hoping bieksa absorbs more toi/pp time in Edlers Absence??)

Decent trade especially with S.J. lack of scoring but pretty ruthless tactics

Good trade (in terms of value) but likely the last one you will make in that league......

I'd feel pretty bad myself, but that GM has got to be on top of information more.

Yahoo doesn't seem to know about it yet, which is probably why he accepted it.

In any case, you should brace yourself for some bad press over this one, my man.

Haha getting alot of hate, but i agree its not my fault he did not know. Its possible the trade could still be in his favor if a) heatley goes on a streak in the second half and if datsyuk takes a while to round back into form b) if edler is not out to long and returns in time for fantasy playoffs and contributes as he was before the injury

Hmm, when I read that I assumed he was referring to his league. Maybe you should clarify holypuck?

I was gonna say... ya sleazy move, but really I think I'd take Heater and Edler for the rest of the year over Dats and Bieksa!!!! Will depend on how long Edler stays out for but it's not like Dat's is playing yet either. Lol..... Karma.

It's not terrible, by any means, I do think you get the best player (I'm a big dats' fan and give him a slight edge to Heatley if we don't consider positions and goals etc) but under healthy circumstances I'd way rather have Heater and Edler....

I am not a fan of pulling such moves. Regardless of the players involved, you will likely lose a lot of respect in your league. Is it really worth it?

i tend to disagree that the tactics are sleazy, if you're going to accept a trade you should be well informed about the players involved.

    10 team - points only - 6F - 4D - 2G (2 pts W, 2pts SHO) - 3 bench - 2 IR
    F - stamkos, stastny, c stewart, b richards, m koivu, briere, o jokinen
D - green, ma bergeron, wisniewski, subban, zidlicky
    G - bryzgalov, vokoun, brodeur
