Fitting he was the first islander to be a plus on the season too. A month ago he was +1 while every other islander was a minus. He's now a plus 11. The only other islanders without a minus are Jurcina +1, Nielsen +7 and Okposo +6. I know many don't really look at the stat but in this situation, I think it shows what a great player he really is.

He was offered to everyone and no one would trade for him,he was told by Anaheim if no one wanted him he would be placed on waivers and hopefully he would get a chance to start. Anaheim was loyal and did as they said both sides win,so I'd say no Bryzgalov isnt the biggest waiver mistake of all time.
