Good to know. It bothers me a little that so glaring an issue as the loss of Courturier did not come to mind in trying to figure out why Konecny wasn't going. I just traded for him as a decent buy low in the league in my signature too. Good stuff.
Couturier skated on Tuesday - this is what GM Fletcher said:
And Couturier is one tough SOB - remember when he played with torn ligaments against the Penguins back a few playoffs ago.Couturier shot the puck some while he was skating. Flyers GM Chuck Fletcher isn't ready to list him as day-to-day, but he's hoping that Couturier will be available in 7-10 days.

Big comeback win tonight!
Some thoughts:
1) Impressive to come back from 3-0
2) Giroux playing with Lindblom and Aube-Kubel - interesting
3) Impressed some of the defensive plays that JVR made

This is one I'm sitting out.
Konecny finally produces. Glad I was patient with him.

From The Athletic this morning....
Ouch.At the beginning of March, the Flyers had an 83 percent chance at making the playoffs, the second-highest in the East thanks to an 11-4-3 record. They’ve gone 4-8-1 since thanks to the goaltending, seeing their playoff odds plummet all the way down to 14 percent. That’s the end of the Flyers’ season in a nutshell with the tandem collectively allowing 24.5 goals more than an average tandem would. That’s nine more than the next worst team.

It's quite frustrating that the defense & especially goaltending has been such an issue for a Vigneault team.
The one saving grace is that this should make Hart's next deal much cheaper than we would've expected. Elliott looks done, so they need a backup, and I don't trust Fletcher, so I'm very leery of what he will do.
