Default Drop Martin for OEL or Greene?

So I decided to do a quick audit on my team and I realized Paul Martin has only gotten me 2 bloody points since Dec 5th!!!!!!!!!!!! How did I miss this?

Welcome to dropsville Mr. Martin... Population: You!

So who should I pick up to fill the void for me on D? OEL and Greene seem to be the best options but Tyutin has been hot lately too. I could see OEL or Greene weaseling their way on to my keeper list.

First and foremost, I want the production this year, but if one of them has a much higher upside I would probably go that route since it took me this long to notice I wasn't getting any production out of that D slot anyways.

League and team info in sig.

Martin became VERY droppable as soon as Goligoski got his job back on PP1. Defensemen who don't shoot, hit or spend time in the box are fantasy dead weight without PP1.

I'd take OEL for his upside and keeper potential.

I would take Oliver Ekman-Larsson. He's so talented, imagine when he starts putting up points with Yandle, the point on the number 1 PP will be lethal! Andy Greene is nothing really, so you don't lose much there.

either OEL or Greene would be a better option for you at this point. i would be curious to see who else was available though. Daley (DAL) has been hot as of late, doesn't seem to be owned in many leagues. OR I just read something in the ramblings about Yandles counterpart...the name escapes me at the moment (riding the coattails of a producer like Yandle sometimes works).

The FA pool has been picked clean of D-men. Even Daley is gone. The 3 I mentioned are the only valid selections out there.

I guess I'll go with OEL for now.

Like I said, I'm really not sure how it got past me, I don't pay a whole lot of attention to my D-men as I don't carry an extra, so I'm never looking to swap one out. Glad I caught it now though.

    Thanks for all the input

would you drop martin for OEL in a one year league? my D are really struggling to produce at the moment. martin, gonchar, foster, etc. Is OEL gonna stick around on the coyotes after Jovanowski and Rosival come back from injuries? I've already got Kampfer and Shattenkirk on my D in a One Year league so I'm wary about picking up a third rookie NHL D-man.

I also wanna drop Martin. Who's better to pick...? OEL or Kulikov!?

    Since I have 6 D's, should I turn towards a C or W instead?

If neither would be a keeper, I'd rather have Kulikov than OEL now that McCabe is out.

Depends which C's and W's are available, but 6 D's when you need only 4 does seem like overkill to me. I never carry more than one extra D in one-year leagues.

No. Neither is a great one-year option, but I'd rather have the vet on the higher-scoring team.
