Is he worth aquiring?? Whta will he bring to the table as far as fantasy points go for the next few seasons.. I am not too sold on this guy personally..

He\'s a bandaid boy, but nothing could be as bad as last season for the guy. Look for 70 games this season and 35 to as much as 50 points, depending on a) if Liles remains in the doghouse and b) if the Avs don\'t acquire another rearguard to man the PP

Yeah, I\'d personally wait until after free agency to acquire this guy (to see if - like dobber says - the Avs get any defenders in free agency). If they don\'t, I like him as a darkhorse for next season... He\'ll get good powerplay time and even if he\'s on the second unit, he\'ll be playing on one of the more deadly powerplays in the league.

why was Liles ever in the doghouse? Poor defensive play? Quenville seems like a grumpy fella. Liles is a good guy..

I think maybe there was speculation at some point that he was in the doghouse because of something to do with his injury. Either he wasn\'t telling the doc\'s how it really felt (playing injured and risking further injury) or he was milking it... I think I remember him coming back to soon and re-injuring himself because he lied to the doctors about how he felt...

That could be completely off-base, but it\'s a suggestion as to dobbers comment...
