    Default Too many G!

    Hey guys,

    I'm currently sitting second in a 10-team H2H league (Team 2 in signature) that starts 2C, 2LW, 2RW, 4D, 1 Utility, and 2G.

But...I currently have FIVE goalies. I was quick to snag the breakouts (Pavelec, Crawford, Neuvirth) in addition to my drafted Rinne and Vokoun. I intended on using them as trade bait (after I've reaped the benefits of a hot-streak of course). But now with all of them performing rather well for me (I lead most Goalie cats), I'm torn on which 3 to keep and move forward with.

My team desperately needs a C (lost Roy for the year).

Any opinions on which 3 of those you think will be the best for me going through the playoffs (March 21-April 3 in this league)?

Also I know Neuvirth hasn't done much lately, but I didn't want to outright drop him. I'm patiently waiting for Varly to go down and then trade Neuvirth to his owner (who happens to be in 1st place). Smart move or should I cut ties now?

Is this a dynasty? One year?

With the goalies you have, I would probably trade Pavelec while his stock is still high. Atlanta is pretty hit and miss and they allow a lot of goals...

Rinne, Vokoun, Ward, Crawford and Neuvy should be solid enough down the stretch.

You might be able to package Pavelec + Vermette for an upgrade at C. Or just Pavelec for a C.

    Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. Forgot to mention it's a one-year.

Keep Rinne and Crawford for sure. Pavelec is not dominating like he was, but Florida seems to be playing mind games with Vokoun, who's been vocal about losing starts to Clemmensen. If I had to choose between those two, I'd hang on to Vokoun. I think he's the better goalie, and he certainly has the longer track record.
