To say he's been a disappointment so far this season is a gross understatement. Through 2 periods tonight the guy is a +5 and doesn't have a single point...oh yeah, and my pool only counts points.
Curses!

As a long time Gonchar owner, I've just got to shake my head at you nouveau-Gonchar owners. He struggled when he went to the Bruins and for his first year in Pittsburgh. He'll figure it out and put up huge numbers next season and he'll still put up respectable numbers this season. Anyone who sells low now deserves whatever paltry return they get. Gonchar is elite. And he's still only 36.
is gonchar possibly playing hurt this year?.....
maybe, he started the year with 12pts in the 1st 16 games and only has 8 in the last 28 so its possible
16 GMs with 15 Keepers, Pts only, Top 9F,4D,1G count

Sucking /= hurt.
The team sucks. He sucks a little more as he got older. What did you expect? Their offense and PP aren't exactly potent.
The window to trade him is approaching fast.

as did many, i had a hunch the pens would let him go, little did i expect there new found millions to be spent on D, instead of a winger, but back to my point.
I took so much sh!t from my fellow team managers when i moved him near the end of last season for a high draft pick, but the writing was on the wall. With his injuries last year, combined with his age, i can't see him regaining his past scoring highs. He has never been the dynamic player the ageless Lidstrom is, and i do not expect the scoring touch to come back in ottawa this year.
