Default Philly-Boston goalies tonight -- start both?

So I have Thomas and the Philly handcuff tonight; pretty sure Boosh gets the nod.

What are vet poolies' thoughts on playing both goalies in a game?

Meaning, I start both Thomas and Boucher tonight. Hope for a 0-0 tie going to the shootout....LOL. Hope it's not a high-scoring affair....which is funny, because I'll have Briere/Carter/Horton playing too. I'm guaranteed one Win if I start both. Or I could try to forecast a winner and only play him. Could backfire if he loses and/or gets blown out. It doesn't happen often, but what do you guys do when it happens on your team?

    Thanks for input.

Boucher is playing vs. Timmy T:

I'm in the same bind with Quick also playing tonight. But I'm not head to head categories with no penalties for goals against.

Bryz is also starting for you while Lu isn't.

Personally, Thomas is the biggest fighter in net and won't lie down to losing his job and wants to build off the SO. Bouch's battle is huge too, but no one can outpace Thomas's drive.

Yeah, in one of my leagues I traded for Boucher so I can have the Philly goalies, and it should be Boucher tonight.

Personally I've never been a fan of starting both goalies. With my luck, it always ends up being a 6-5 massacre...I get the win, but I'm not happy about it.

I'd go with Thomas and Breezer. I like Thomas' performance as of late and I think he'll get the win over Boucher and Breezer is confirmed starting against the Leafs'. Also looks like Schneider is starting tonight (at least according to Left Wing Lock), so that makes your decision easier with Luongo.

I never, ever let a situation like that affect my goalie decisions. Stud goalies play regardless of matchup, so in your case I'd start Thomas every time out. And since Boston's offense isn't fearsome, I'd probably start whichever Flyers goalie gets the nod too. But if your sig is up to date and you also have Bryz, I'd prefer him vs. TOR over either Philly goalie.

I have both the Philly and Boston tandems and am starting both goalies, but largely because I am in dead heat for wins (roto league).

If you have a good alternative (Bryz against the Leafs) I would take that and try for two wins. Between Boucher and Thomas, hard to say, Thomas is the better goalie but Boston has less offence. Edge to Thomas as he will get you good stats even if he loses.

Is anyone else still doubting Boosh? I grabbed him over a week ago for free and have been ecstatic, as he's continued to post great numbers.

7-5...that would have been nasty if both were started.

I assume after last night, bob will get the next start? I picked up Boucher for free last week too because I needed starts, but I don't know how long to hold him. I thought he could take over as starter, but 6 goals will kill some of those hopes

Ha, sour flyers fan? Your team is so cheap they deserved a lot more calls. And your goalies are garbage. Luck my ass. Boucher has been a career back up for a reason, he is not good.
