Traded for Crosby...

I just made a trade for Crosby in my second keeper pool (different from the pool in my signature below), I\'m currently 4th but with a team that probobly isn\'t good enough to win this year, the trade went down as follows

I traded: Hossa, Briere and Pronger

I received: Crosby, Gionta and Timonen

My team before the trade was
C: Briere, Sundin, Lang, Cullen
W: Ovechkin, Hossa, Tanguay, Kovalev, Langenbrunner, Kariya
D: Pronger, Zubov, Redden, Enstrom, Pitkanen
G: Luongo, Backstrom, Leclaire, Bryzgalov
B: Penner, Higgins, Doan

Point based pool, keepers are 1C, 2W, 1 Forward (C or W), 2D, 1G, 1 Rookie

Based on what I\'ve seen people turning down for Crosby on these boards I think I got a pretty good deal for him (although I\'m terribly weak on W now), I figure I\'ve got the best C in the league and arguably the best W (in Ovechkin) and G (in Luongo) so even if I lost a bit this season for this trade I think I\'ll have a great keeper team going forward based around those 3.

What do you guys think?

Its a great deal.. Anytime you can get sid the kid, short of a 12 for 1 trade, it\'s a good deal

You have 2 quality centers now, and a center who\'s red hot.

The best wing in the league on your team, as well as a hot wing in kovalev (well, was kinda hot) and kariya, who will hopefully heat up.

I think you can do good things w/ this this year. Crosby\'s stats at center will more than compensate for hossa, and briere. D looks a bit weak now, but it should all balance out in the end.

As for the trade, you owned it. To have crosby, ovechkin and Luongo on your team is phenomenal. You will be the favorite for years to come with more shrewd moves.

Great trade for you! Crosby and A.O. are most likely going to be top three - five in scoring for the foreseeable future. The guy who owns Crosby in my league wouldn\'t part with him if I offered him my car.
