Alfredsson for Turco

This trade was offered to me:

I give: Letang/Turco
I get: Alfredsson/Garon

I think I like this deal a lot. There are no minimum starts for goalies in this league (18 teams), so the loss of Turco isn\'t quite as magnified. However, saves is a category, so I\'m thinking of trying to make another move after this one if I accept.

I was thinking of trying to swing Havlat/Hedberg for LaBarbera (a middle of the road starter). His owner already has Luongo/Lundqvist and the TB duo, so he can porbably spare him. If he won\'t bite, I\'ll try Kolzig or a similar guy.

I\'m getting tired of dealing with Havlat. I would then grab some random D-man. So the total sum would be (pending the LaBarbera\'s owner\'s agreeance):

Havlat/Letang/Turco/Hedberg

for

Alfredsson/D-man/Garon/LaBarbera


Hell, Garon could become the clear #1 soon enough anyway.


Thoughts? Too risky without knowing if I can get LaBarbera or someone similar? Make the trade and deal with it later? Bad trade even if I can get LaBarbera?

in a one year league do it , keeper league i\'m not so sure as turco should work out the kinks or/and be traded to a winning team. letang could be gonchar material but it\'s too early to tell.

this trade would totaly blank your Goalie Position, and it will be tough to get a starting goalie in a 18 teams league, their value is very high.

Don´t do it, as long as you didn´t make sure you can get a G in another trade.

Garon won´t become No1. Rolo and Garon will split ice time at best, but i see Roloson starting more games.
