As a huge Yandle fan, I wanted to post some of his past accolades. This kid has been a stud from day 1, and it's really quite amazing that he was so under the radar until the last couple of years.

How does a kid who has the following awards go so underrated:

* 2005: Canadian Major Junior - Defenceman of the Year
* 2005: CHL - Defenceman of the Year (Canadian Major Junior)
* 2005: QMJHL - Emile "Butch" Bouchard Trophy (Best Defenceman)
* 2005: QMJHL - First All-Star Team
* 2005: QMJHL - Telus Defensive Player of the Year
* In the 2007–08 season he participated in the AHL All-Star Game as a member of
the PlanetUSA team.

His stats, while not stellar in the AHL, are fantastic in his earlier years. I've never heard so many good things about one player in such a short period of time. It still blows my mind that this guy went in the 4th round, 105th overall. What a gem.
