We were talking about his Ovie and mostly Kovy not producing enough and he was asking about my Kuznetsov and Taransenko, so, for a joke, I offer him Kuznetsov for Kovalchuk, and he answered me : If you add a first round pick, it's a deal...

so I would get Kovalchuk for Kuznetsov + a 1st round pick

Is that a too good to be true or do I jump on this one ??? (I don't believe I'm asking it but, anyway... I just did) Note that I have 6 1st round pick over next 2 years (2 in 2011, 4 in 2012)

Yes, that is a super buy low. You may want to sit Kovalchuk the rest of the year though til Parise comes back.

what he said. this is the point in the season when you need to start buying low on these guys. i just did it with ovechkin so yeah these are guys to get now and stock up for next yr.
