Being the \"other person\" involved in that nonsense with Ben hopefully people realize it was partly my fault for not being clear when I posted his career stats and not just the two games. Regardless his comments were uncalled for but now looking back on it, its fun to laugh at it. My favorite....

me thinks people should just be, and stop worrying about the judgement of others. also, sometimes on the internet when you are just reading something it is hard to understand tone or sarcasm always.

People just need to remember to breathe and realize sometimes someone else\'s mode of thought may by chance be different than yours. I speak my mind, and as you all know that is done freely and unfiltered, and sometimes karma goes up, sometimes it goes down. That is in essence what karma is about, it\'s all cyclical

Don\'t be an ass clown and ding peoples karma constantly lest you get dinged.

I was thinking maybe we should get rid of the negative Karma... You can only give out positive karma... I can see some peaps get really bothered with this karma idea... I don\'t mind it.. but as you can see allot of guys depend on it...

Karma should be a fun part of the message board... Dobber does have something with it.. The only problem is some guys are not mature enuogh to handle it....

oh dear...might as well have a sticky mentioning what karma is, when to give props and when to smite others...

is it REALLLY necessary? if someone gets a -10 will they think their life is hopeless? and if someone does give you negative karma for the next 10 days...that just means they\'re obsessed with you..

I have no problem with Karma as well but as I\'ve already said, it\'s not something I have in mind when I either read or post something. I reward good post and don\'t expect to receive karma for everything I post.

Agreed, but because there are 2100 registered in the forum, the Rude= - Karma can add up quickly. I don\'t have a problem with the system, but I don\'t want anyone to dip below zero. I reserve that for:
a) spammers. you can instantly see them by their -10 karma
b) extremely rude pricks who only jumped on for one or two insulting posts and then left.

If someone is rude once out of 200 posts...they should be dinged a little, but not below zero.
That\'s just my quick thought. The current system is working so far. I can manually keep an eye on all negative karmas and adjust as I see fit.
