Nash and Briere for Cammalleri and Hemsky

Rick Nash (LW)
Daniel Briere (C)

for my

Michael Cammalleri (C/LW)
Ales Hemsky (RW).

This is in a points only half-keeper league (1 pt per goal or assist --goalies get 2 for a win +3 for a shutout). We protect players worth up to half the total points of the winner.

I\'m in second pushing for first and trying to pick up points to replace my now-busted-up Justin Williams (and he was doing so well.)

What do you think for points this year? How about for upside in the future? That\'s where I\'m a shade hesitant, as Hemsky is Hemsky and Cammalleri is on LA, a team I have a lot of faith in for the future.

Any thoughts are good thoughts .

I would take it but I am a risk taker. By the way, I really am wondering if Hemsky injured his minutes stopped in the last game to about 10 and I have seen nothing since.

I would take it. In the future you might lose out a little bit, but it\'s still pretty close as Nash and Briere aren\'t exactly plugs.

Shoeless...I did some searching around on an Oilers board (ughh). Apparently there was semi-dirty hit where the other guy stuck his knee out on Hemsky (Oilers fans are calling for a suspension...) and Hemsky left then. It\'s supposedly just bruised and he\'ll be fine to play but they\'re going to do an MRI to be safe.

Pulled the trigger.

I will miss Hemsky immensely now and in the future as an Oilers fan, and I will miss Cammalleri\'s place on LA (at least I have Frolov and Brown, yet), but what the hell. Let\'s hope Nash breaks his slump (and nothing else) and this nets me some points.

it was a good move, briere is a bonafide 96 pt player, and lots of people arent recognizing that gagne has been injured for quite some time, right about the time when briere\'s production began tailing off. And nash is better then hemsky, IMO. good trade.
