Midseason pick - need a D
Hey - team in signature. Whitney is out for a long while it seems. And Erik Johnson hasn't been playing all that well. I've got 3 mid season picks coming up and I plan on grabbing one d man. These are the best of whose available:
Byfuglien (obvious first pick if I end up with first pick)

The picks are just till the end of the year - including playoffs. If I don't get first pick I'm leaning towards shatternik since he is on the best team of the bunch. Think he is the next best pick after big buff?

I see that. I still thk Shatts will be better in the end. Wis can have another hot run.
Yeah its looking like I'll have 2nd 4th and 9th pick. I could probably land shatternik and wiz plus a decent forward like ray Whitney or david jones. Or I could take hedjuk or Williams then wiz or shatternik with the 4th pick. Not sure which would be best yet.

u could really use a def or 2. Milan Hejduk would be a nice add too.
What place are u in and how close is the situation?
Currently in 3rd place with a 10 pt lead on 4th and about 20 on 5th. 11 pts back of 2nd and 50 from first. My sig is also a bit out of date as I traded hossa Blake and wheeler for Tavares and 2 picks. Byfuglien went first overall. The other thing that is interesting is Crawford and bobrovsky are both available. Goaltending isnt my main concern right now but it might be nice form the playoffs.
