    Default Weber/Karlsson/Myers... who to trade?

I'm out of it this year, but I like my D as a whole. Unfortunately, my forwards haven't been getting it done for me and we keep 9 players...

I'm keeping Green for sure, despite his struggles this year. I'd like to keep 2 D-men for next year. The trouble is, I don't know who I should keep...

Out of these 3 D: Weber Karlsson Myers

Who would you try to trade for draft picks? Who should I be keeping?

My initial thoughts at the beginning of the yaer: Weber/Myers for sure.

Now: I'm leaning towards Karlsson, despite the fact he plays with Ottawa...

    Am I overvaluing him?

Any advice would be appreciated... Thanks!

I'm with you - at the beginning of the season I would have been thinking Myers or the established Weber if Myers didn't continue to improve.

However - Karlsson is a highly touted D who has been given a lot of ice time and responsibility in OTT.

I'd be leaning towards the offensive upside of Karlsson in OTT over the stability well rounded guy in Weber. Karlsson has passed Myers on the young D ranks in my mind as well......

Shop both Weber and Karlsson. I think whoever fetches you the most in return is the one you trade. They are both awesome d-men, and each are great keepers.

I'm in 2nd last place by a LONG way... Any idea what type of a pick I should be looking at? Dmen don't seem to be appreciated by anyone except me in this league...

Then why would you trade these guys for picks at this point. You need them to win. Wait till after season .

I have to agree with Sparrow. No point trading them now. Weber has the lowest value he ever will. The other two are studs. They all play on mediocre teams, but remember Gonchar put up great points on some very average Washington teams. Sit back and watch their value grow, hopefully you have a hard decision in the off season.

I'm not sure I follow your logic Sparrow and Ramrod... We only keep 9 players, so why wouldn't I be looking to upgrade picks for next year? I'd be trading a player I'm not going to (Can't realy...) keep for an upgrade in picks next year...

They'll have more value, later in the season. Therefore you'll get a better return. Especially if all you expect back are picks.
