In a dynasty league, which player would you rather own and why? Thanks in advance!

For the fact that dynasty leagues only rely on offense, i chose subban.

Not sure what this means? His Dynasty league looks like it has all sorts of cats, I would have picked PK to start the year but I'd be all over Pietrangelo now. He is doing what he was supposed to do from the day he was drafted and I like him a lot.

    it has 4 cats....PIM, G,A,+/-

    In 31 GP, Subban has 2 goals, 9 assists, -1, 40 PIM
    In 32 GP, Pietrangelo has 4 goals, 13 assists, +2, 13 PIM

Not much different. I think PK will be like Mike Green- very offensively productive but not great defensively, meanwhile Pietrangelo will be forced to be a defensive guy. Of course he'll still get points, but i think subban will continue to do what he does now, despite the fact that it hurts his team. However, it will give him good stats. If i were making a team in the nhl, i'd chose Pietrangelo easily. but the offensive potential of PK is higher than that of Pietrangelo, which is why i would chose him.

Healthy scratch on a mediocre to bad offensive team vs. starting PPQB currently putting up points on a young, improving team. I know everyone wants PK to be pumped up as a superstar, trust me, as a Habs fan I do too. Fact is Pietrangelo has always been billed as the big ticket item and now he's starting to show it. Go with the producer and let someone else deal with PK's learning curve.

You should, PK is never going to be close to Mike Green in production. He's playing with Cammy and Pleks, not OV and Backstrom.

i didnt mean production wise, just player type. Its like when people compare ryan nugent hopkins to joe sakic. They won't produce the same, but be similar type players. Sorry for the confusion killer.

In the long run, I see this as pretty even production wise. AP has less risk given his superior defensive skills.

Well if he doesnt produce like Green and hes a poor defender like Green hes in trouble then.

Dukla has it right. Thus go with AP.

Yah the aruement that u said about pk being green type with no defensive play but not as offensively talented is more an arguement against him... It means he wont get the playing time he could get if he could be relied on... if he is a liability out there no coach especially a defensice minded one like the habs have will throw him out there...
AP is a more compete dman for sure but he is not some stay at home d man like u were making him out there... Outta the 2 studs blues have ej is more than the defensively aware guy and peits is a ppqb... He will be damn good in the nhl and he is already showing it and once they finally dont resign carlo and he stops stealing some of his playing time AP will really flourish
