Karlsson is on the way to top 40 points and he´s only in his second season. These are very impressive numbers for a guy who is only 20 years old. Anyway i´d prefer Visnovsky for this year, he should be a top 5 defender at the end of the season, as long as he stays healthy.

So it´s Visnovsky for this season, but it´s really close for the next 3 seasons. Karlsson should be able to close the gap in the next years and as he´s a lot younger and doesn´t have an injury history like Visnovsky i´d take him for the long run!

...Very much Karlsson!! He's eyeing 50+ as a 20 year old. Thinking of him as an even better (so far!) D version of Hall or Tavares, even though he's Swedish and not Canadian, is not too outlandish. Especially when Spezza picks it up on the powerplay one day, or year, as well as Ottawa as a whole.

Projections... Vis will at best have 10 or so more than him by the end of this very year, easily likely less, especially with injury potential. That should probably tell you all you need to know, with the mild (10 year) age gap.

    Karlsson. Not even close IMO.

I'd trade my Karlsson for Green or Doughty. That's about it.

This says it all. While I think Visnovsky will have more points than Karlsson over the next 3 yrs, Karlsson's trade value is so much higher given their relative age and injury history. Karlsson offers the best opportunity to improve your squad.

Karlsson for sure....he's on pace for about 50 pts on a shite team and he's 20 years old, no question in my mind at all...Lubo may have a career year this year but he could also get injured (again) and then what are you left with?

Karlsson for me as well, though Viz will be a better option this year.

Personally I like Vis better. He has produced everywhere he has plyed... Sort of the Neidermayer type.

I love Vis but the guy is old. Karlsson is going to be the same type of guy for years to come anyway.

....I know they aren't much to watch, but just to see karlsson play you should tune into a Sens game.

He is gaining confidence all the time. He looks way better than Gonchar....he is gettnig a ton of PP time....he runs coast to coast regularily, makes beautiful passes.....getting a lot quicker at attacking the other team coming witht he pusk so he doesn't have to try to muscle them, which is his weakness....but it looks like he has discovered a way to counteract it....I'm bias I know....but I wouldn't move karlsson for many Dmen right now.....

I'd take the chance on him. If hets outpointed by Visnovsky, it won't be by much.

Yeah, that and you won't have to worry about the injuries. Karlsson for me too.
