Trade Help - Alfredsson
I have just been offered Alfredsson, Ray Whitney, Jovanovski, Raycroft for my Callahan, Latendresse, and Mike Smith.
I would have to drop Jeffrey and probably Clarkson, because Callahan and Latendresse are on my IR
I am competing this year, I realize the guys that I would be taking on are old, I am also factoring Smith's overall play this year (less than steller) and his injury today in practice
What do people think?

W- Start 8 - Kaprizov, Ovechkin, , seguin (c/w), Toffoli, Pavelski (c/w), Schenn(c/w), Compher, Saad, palat, Danforth
D- Start 6 Josi, Nurse, Trouba, burns, McCabb, Faulk, walman, Larson
G- Start 2 - hellebuyck, vasilevsky, Grubauer, A Hill
If you are contending, then I would jump at it. Cally gone for 6 weeks, Lats done for the year and Smith may as well be done. It looks like you are being handed Alfe and Whitney virtually for free.
Maybe you can ship Varly's upside for a legit starter like Thomas and try to make a run.
Age means nothing if it wins you a championship. Well worth it. Have a look at my fossilized squad and you will see what I mean.
