I'd still stick it out with alfie,

I really don't like him but considering his whole team is cold, he is your best bet.

    stay put, IMO

when Stewart comes back if Hejduk sticks with him Stastny Liles and Shattenkirk on that top PP unit as he'll obviously continue to get top 6 minutes he will be a better option than Alfie this season as he should put up about a 30-40 line at least over a full 82 with solid +/-

Was wondering as well, who pots more points this season, Karlsson or Shattenkirk?

Shattenkirk as long as he is on Av's top PP unit outscores all other Av defense including Liles and definitely Karlsson as he plays on a club that's more impotent than Richard Simmonds at the Playboy mansion

Ok, was thinking of upgrading at Dmen. Now rather than straight up drop Alfie back to FA, do you think that Alfie/Shattenkirk for Letang is over/under selling? If the trade goes through I'll pick up Savard or Hejduk.

I think it's largely lateral and would keep the top Defensive PP option on COL boom or bust as he has that much upside...for all you know Goligoski could step-up and steal Letang's thunder...Shattenkirk is the real deal so it's a perfectly fine deal if you want to trade him and Alfie for Letang and one of those waiver forwards...but I would like to see how Shattenkirk plays out as there is no reason he can't do on COL this season what Doughty did in LA last season...especially with how potent the AV's are up front...deal is fine, but I rathher ride out Shattenkirk and drop Alfie for Savard or Hejduk than deal for Letang...again not a bad move at all tho..I just wouldn't do it personally

On a side note, a guy in my league just gave up OV and Miller for Crosby and Hiller.

Good move for the guy who sold Crosby as he got arguably the #1 forward and #1 netminder in the league in a single 2 for 2 deal

Yeah I know right? Ok, well I guess I might toss Alfie to the sharks because I'm pretty sure that the B's are destined for greatness this year and I'm pretty sure I can find a reliable C in Savard, dropping Carter to the RW and rotating him around when needs be. Smart move? I'd personally say Savard is more reliable than Hejduk... of course until he takes another smack to the head. :P

And positionally speak you have both Carter and Kovalchuk w/ RW eligibility but one 2 centers...def would go with Savard in general...but even more so cause of that

Yeah, I'm just hoping that eventually he takes over Krejci's spot on line one between Lucic and Horton, but that probably won't happen as I undeerstand it, they wanted to pair him up with Seguin.

He is on top PP unit with Lucic Horton and 2 D which gives him plenty of value outright and if B's keep puttingup 1 and 2 goal performances he'll be with them even strength as well within a week...he will score at at least 70 point pace on top PP unit and with any sort of decent talent alongside him...guy put up 2 90 point season without even having a 25 goal scorer in Boston which speaks volumes about his playmaking abilities...he is a serious talent as you will see...watch the game tonight and watch him move the puck and that will tell you everything you need to know

Yep I've watched him play plenty and as a B's fan I hope to see them kick the tar out of The Habs tonight.
