If you can get a significant upgrade at D or C, I would comfortably take a chance with those goalies on the wire. Probably Hiller or Ward for me, as I see them as gauranteed to get the bulk of the starts for thier teams.
one year league...team in sig...was thinking i could get something good in return...he's been so up and down this year and St. Louis isn't scoring to help him out....here are some FA's in my league...what would u do? anything?

With the guys on the wire there is no reason not to trade Halak and get an upgrade as needed then go get Hiller he is the man in ANA and the team is looking better and better and he has been great!
I don't know why anyone would trade something significant for Halak with guys like that on the wire for free, but by all means shop him around and see what you can get. Perhaps his name value is still high enough that someone will bite.
20 team H2H keeper. Keep 10. Now drafting...

With those guys on the wire, you'll do well to manage an upgrade of any sort with a trade. If your trade partner is paying any attention at all, he'll upgrade through the wire. Certainly no reason to be afraid to trade Halak when

are available. Bobrovsky has been absolutely wonderful to date. Pavelec has all world numbers, but low wins. Hiller is steady. Ward is stead. Rinne is steady. Halak, well you're hoping he's steady and is better than the rest based on 70 starts.
